South African Council of Graduates (SACGRA) is an organization facilitating placement of graduates and learners for internships and experiential training or work integrated experience and learning.

It also provides support to cooperatives through capacity building, internship support, coops entrepreneurs assessment and business toolbox.

SACGRA works with various government and private sector host employers for graduates that are affiliated and registered with it.

The council works with setas to source funding for stipends of R4000 for graduates and R2500 for learners.

King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality has forged partnership with SACGRA in September last year to facilitate and secure placement for graduates in the Municipality and businesses around KSD area.

As a result, about forty-four (44) learners and graduates have secured internship through this partnership.  The placement run between twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months period.  

Recently, KSD received a Host Employer Recognition Award as a token of appreciation from SACGRA for the speedy response and assistance in ensuring that unemployed youth get experiential training to complete their qualifications and experience to secure employment or start a business.
