King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality (KSDM) working together with South African Local Government Association (SALGA) handed over on Thursday, 12 August 2021 Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to local businesses in various sectors.

The initiative is part of Building Inclusive Green Municipalities (BIGM) COVID-19 pandemic Relief Support. The support has targeted businesses operating in the frontline service such as food outlets, accommodation establishments, taxi industries, funeral parlours and informal traders from Ntozonke and town hall.

The PPEs that were handed over included 9 knapsack sprayers, 249 heavy-duty gloves 60 boxes of surgical gloves, 60 boxes of protective masks, a total of 59 bottles of 5L sanitizers and 6 of 20L knapsack spray chemicals.
