The Executive Mayor of King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality, Cllr. G. N. Nelani, in partnership with Syntell, handed over digital tablets to Grade 12 Mathematics and Science learners in various schools under KSD jurisdiction.
These schools, which also performed well in the matriculation results of 2025, include Bambilanga Senior Secondary School in Ward 18, Qingqolo Senior Secondary School under Ward 26, Gengqe Senior Secondary School at Ward 23, and Mditshwa Technical High School in Ncambele in Ward 13.
This initiative forms part of the Municipality’s Back-to-School Campaign aimed at enhancing digital learning, improving access to educational resources, and strengthening academic performance in critical subjects such as mathematics and science.
In motivating learners, the Executive Mayor said that they must focus on their study to improve their lives and stay away from any wrongdoing.
By equipping learners with technological tools, the programme seeks to promote innovation, digital literacy, and greater integration of technology in the classroom.
Further to this, Clicks, as one KSD stakeholder, also donated hygiene products to support a healthy learning environment.
