King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality has received a fully equipped double-axle Eco-Trailer from the O.R. Tambo District Municipality as part of its prize for excelling in the Greenest Town Competition.
The Eco-Trailer was officially handed over by O.R. Tambo District Municipality Deputy Executive Mayor, Cllr. T. Sabisa, on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
The provision of this Eco-Trailer, a valuable resource with a built-in music and public address system, will significantly enhance the Municipality’s environmental awareness campaigns, community outreach programmes, and public participation activities. It will also support ongoing efforts to promote environmental stewardship, encourage responsible waste management practices, and foster cleaner, greener communities across the municipality.
This investment reflects the Municipality’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental conservation, while strengthening its capacity to engage residents in building a cleaner, healthier, and more environmentally responsible future.
