In efforts to promote accountability, KSD Municipality conducted Public Hearings wherein the KSD Executive Mayor, Cllr. G.N Nelani, presented the Draft Annual Report for 2023/24 Financial Year to the community and stakeholders.
These Hearings were held on Tuesday, 18 March 2025, both in Mthatha and Mqanduli.
The objective of the report is to provide a record of the Municipality’s activities during the financial year. It also serves to report on the performance of the Municipality against its budget.
Members of the community got an opportunity to engage with the report and aired their views. The community praised the performance of the Municipality and further called for more action on issues of service delivery.
