Nelani received Mr. Thamsanqa Maqubela, CEO of the South Africa Council for Graduates (SACGRA), in the Municipality as he was presenting host employer awards to KSD. This was done to show gratitude for the cooperation the organization has established with the Municipality since 2021 in order to help young people develop their abilities.

According to SACGRA website, the council is established in terms of the Co-operative Amendment Act, No 6 of 2013 to grow a high calibre of youth and the advancement of graduate cooperatives as viable economic entities to fast track job creation, foreign direct investment and skills transfer to grow the economy in municipalities and rural areas.

KSD Municipality has been assisting SACGRA to place students in the Municipality in different departments who are unemployed to get an opportunity for workplace exposure and to be able to complete their qualifications.

Currently More than 200 students were placed in the Municipality by SAGCRA.
