It was joy and excitement when the Executive Mayor, Cllr. Nelani, accompanied by MMC Cllr. Sibeko and Ward Cllr. Matyeba, handed over ten houses to their owners in Ward 9 at Maiden Farm on Monday, 19 May 2025.
The Mayor urged owners to take care of the houses, stressing that the person who sold them (houses) will face the law.
The project has created job opportunities, benefiting 38 people.
These are ongoing efforts to restore the dignity of our communities, as KSD has built a total of 201 housing units during the 2023-2024 financial year.
