The department of Public Safety and Traffic Management held its strategic planning session to develop strategies on how to eradicate crime thereby creating a safe and secure environment for all people in KSDM.
The planning session further engaged on solutions to reduce congestion through traffic policing.
It was reiterated in the session that KSDM cannot achieve these objectives without active community participation and collaboration with other security cluster stakeholders.
In closing the EM has emphasised IGR, integration of resources towards fighting crime and he further applauded involvement of business community which has shown interest to engage in partnership with KSDM in relation to initiatives to combat crime.
