Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane conducted oversight visit on health infrastructure upgrade projects that are taking place around KSD LM area. This was part of his overall visit of O.R. Tambo District to monitor the progress of the work being done.
St Henry Hospital was one of the health facilities that were assessed. The premier together with MEC for Health Sindiswa Gomba and KSD Executive Mayor, Cllr Nyaniso Nelani also visited St Mary’s Private Hospital to assess the compliance of the hospital to COVID-19 protocols.
Additional to that, the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) donated isolation pods as a contribution towards fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
