The King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality launched a project to revitalize the city’s sidewalks. The project is being implemented from Madeira Street to Norwood Bridge. Because the sidewalks are deteriorated, this renovation will allow pedestrians to travel more freely and discourage them from walking on the road as an alternative.
This project is part of ensuring public safety and reducing the risks associated with using roads as walking areas. Aside from that, the project is part of KSD’s mission to clean up and beautify the city and restore it to its former splendour. Our city garden has also been revitalized by the municipality, which has also fenced it in to protect it.
We also collaborate with various stakeholders, including sector departments, businesses, and community organizations. In addition, the municipality organizes cleaning and awareness programs to educate the public about waste.
