The King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality recently conducted a successful outreach program at Ncise, ward 10. The primary objective of this initiative was to educate residents about the various resources and services available to them, as well as to foster trust between the Municipality and the community.
This outreach program is part of the Municipality’s efforts to bring government services closer to the people and ensure that residents are informed and empowered. By engaging with the community, the Municipality aims to build stronger relationships and improve service delivery.
The Municipality also celebrated a community development pioneer, Mr Gilani Zachariah Manyifolo who was involved in community developments. As a businessman, he spent most of his time helping poor people in the area of Ncise. He was also involved in soccer, he was the sponsor of Ncise Real Hunters. This initiative helped in taking the youth away from criminal activities and use of drugs.
Speaking at this event, KSD First Citizen, His Worship the Executive Mayor, Cllr G.N. Nelani urged the Traditional leaders to set aside pieces of land in their respective areas for the expansion the town, the initiative which will assist in boosting our economy and creation of job opportunities.
